Globe Research was founded over 10 years ago with the aim of planning, conducting and monitoring clinical trials.

The founders are long-time experts in clinical research, both in academia and the industry.

Because of high-quality technical knowledge, our focus is on the field of medical devices, especially implantable medical devices in the application areas of neurology, cardiology, pneumology and orthopaedics.

  • Nadine Enseleit

    Nadine Enseleit

    Co-Founder / CEO

    Trained in general medical practice, she worked in cardiology at the University Hospital of Bern ("Inselspital") and at the Regional Hospital of Biel.

    From 2004 to 2011, she worked in technical support and clinical research for Medtronic (Switzerland) AG, Guidant (Switzerland) AG and Boston Scientific (Europe) based in Brussels.

    She co-founded Globe Research GmbH in 2011 and since then numerous successful projects have been carried out for several different medical technology companies and universities.

    Co-Founder

    After studying medicine and obtaining his doctorate at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, he trained in internal medicine and cardiology at the University Hospital Zurich and the Cantonal Hospital Glarus. Upon completion of his specialist training, he worked as a senior physician in the Clinic for Cardiology at the University Hospital Zurich for many years.

    Dr Enseleit is a private lecturer at the University of Zurich and teaches internal medicine and cardiology. His research focuses on heart failure and heart transplantation, as well as cardiac support systems.

    He has published widely in renowned journals, including Circulation, the European Heart Journal, the FASEB Journal, American Journal of Cardiology, Europace and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and has edited several book chapters and a specialist book on cardiovascular disease. Dr Enseleit was a long-standing member of the editorial board of one of the most important cardiology journals, the European Heart Journal and Cardiovascular Medicine. He has also published several papers on vascular protection of cardiovascular and renal diseases, on similarities between cardiovascular and rheumatologic diseases, and on cardiovascular safety of cardiovascular and non-cardiovascular drugs.

    He has many years of experience in the successful planning, implementation and evaluation of cardiovascular clinical trials (phase II-IV).

    He co-founded Globe Research GmbH in 2011 and has since carried out numerous successful projects for various international medical technology companies and universities.
